Estonian Sport Horse Breeders Association’s Finals
The Finals took place on October 15th in Kurtna, where the best Regional Inspection’s 2 and 3-year old horses made their performance. Judges were Kristi-Liis Koppel ( Estonia ), Henk Nijofsen ( the Netherlands ) and Lars Berglund ( Sweden ).
A marvelous performance was made by 3-year old mare Romantika, who’s average movement score ( step, trot, gallop ) was the best amongst the three judge average in the finals 25,5 points. Romantika became II-nd amongst 3-year old mares.
Tallinn International Horse Show 2011
From 7th to 9th of October Estonias biggest and most anticipated Horse Show took place in Saku Suurhall in Tallinn. All the biggest stars in showjumping as well as dressage from different parts of the world were represented. In between competitions different performances took place – pony quadrille, large horse quadrille, chariot race, introduction of different equestrian sports, the wonderful horsemen from France etc. What a feast for the eye !
Dina Ellermann Radhaa and Külli Teder had prepared a 12-horse quadrille, where also Maiken Lepiste and Orchidee took part. Many thanks to the organizing team for the wonderful experience on the big arena !

Estonian Sport Horse Breeders Association’s Regional Inspection in Toominga Tall on 21st of September 2011
2-year old mare Rihanna, 3-year old mare Romantika and 3-year old stallion Finalist were prepared for this inspection. We also presented 4-year old horses – Fiona, First Star, Scott and Saladin in this inspection. The Finals will take place on 15th of October in Kurtna, three of our horses will take part in the Finals – Rihanna, Romantika, Finalist. To make it to the Finals it was mandatory to receive an average score of at least 76 points.Best scores in the regional inspection were received by Saladin ( 83 points ) and Finalist ( 81,5 points ).
Iia Wennerstrand’s dressage camp in Toominga Tall
On 23rd and 24th of September Iia Wennerstrand’s dressage camp took place in Toominga Tall. The participants were very pleased with the two day training camp. Besides riders from our own stables also riders Kaili and Kaidi from Perila Stables and Marjo who traines in Rahula Stables took part of the camp. Horse wize there were young 4-year old horses but also older participants, who all received valuable advice for future training.

ERL Dressage Competition Cup series Finale
ERL dressage competition cup series finale took place on 20.08.2011 in Vääna Equestrian Center.
The day of competitions was long. The schemes started at 10.00 and ended late at night at 21.30.
Taking into consideration the timeframe and welfare of the horses,
Maiken Lepiste representing Toominga RC did not start in M scheme this time,
although initially she had been registered to compete on two horses in that
class.
In easier L scheme Maiken Lepiste was the best of 15 competing pairs and
received I place on horse Orchidee 66,149% , on horse Skywalker IV place was
taken with 64,865% .
On horse Goldfee the beginning of the scheme was extremely promising ,
but the second half brought errors to the presentation. The score this
time was 60,000%.
In L demanding scheme II place was taken by Orchidee with the result of 64,563%
and III place by Skywalker with the result of 63,938%.
Orchidee showed in schemes maturity , which we have been waiting for a long
time. As a reward for that she received I place and II place and the Cup.
Skywalker´s riding was a bit brittle this time , which placed him only to positions IV and III in the riden schemes.
The mistakes that Goldfee made at the end of the scheme unfortunately ruined her beautiful ride.

ERL Dressage Large and Small Cup and Young horse Dressage competition series 30.07.2011. – 3.stage
The competition took place in Lagedi. Due to weather circumstances the competition was carried out indoors.
Toominga RSK was represented in 6 starts. Our club was represented by Maiken Lepiste and Eeva-Liisa Talberg.
Our 4-year old horses Scott and Saladin started in competitions for the first time. Maiken Lepiste and Skywalker were represented in M- class, where they took II place with the result of 63,553% . This was the first time for Skywalker to start in M-class competition.
Orchidee received the result of 61,096 % and IV place.
In their second time to start in L-easier class Maiken Lepiste on Goldfee received 63,526%. Goldfee showed herself to be much more confident in this start than in the first start where she took the VII place and took the II place.
In A- classis (4- and 5- year old, first season competing horses) Maiken Lepiste on horse Saladin received an excellent 68,611 % and on Scott 65,778 % – the best results amongst 4-year old horses.
Eeva- Liisa Talberg competed for the first time ever and on horse Goldfee she finished A-class with the result of 58,444%.
Estonian Championship 2011
Estonian Equestrian major event was held in a slightly different format this
year. ERL organized in Ruila stables from 14th
to 17th of July a Championship competition where most of
the fields and age groups of riding competitions that are practiced in Estonia
were represented. Title races took place in showjumping,
dressage and eventing. This kind of organization of title events gave
a very good opportunity for representatives of different fields to get together
and for spectators to see and enjoy all the performances of the most successful
riding teams in different fields.
This time our Toominga RC was represented by Maiken Lepiste in L open class with free scheme on horses Skywalker and Orchidee.
On
horse Skywalker a good result of 66,737 % was earned and that ensured I place. The difference between I and II place
was over 7 %.
Orchidee unfortunately made a mistake in one exercise and received 0
points for that, but acchieved a good V place.
Judges were Lone Dichmann – representing Denmark, Anna Mari Pekonen –
representing Finland and Merle Männik- representing Estonia.

day in all free schemes in all classes;

performance 63,684 %, artistry 66,000 %, grand total 64,842 %.
Iia Wennerstrand’s dressage camp and Training competition took place from 8th to 10th of July.
On July 8th to 10th Iia Wennerstran’s two day dressage camp and a training competition on the third day took place in Toominga Tall.
Maiken Lepiste, Kadri Tammistu, Eeva- Liisa
Talberg and Merike Varusk took part in the training camp. Additionally to the abovementioned participants, also
Riina Seder took part in the training competition.
In the training competition the
participants had the possibility to receive comments to their performance right
after their presentation and they also had the chance to re-ride the scheme
partially. It was an extremely positive experience both for the riders and
horses.

RC Toominga was represented by Maiken Lepiste, who started on two horses in L class and on one horse in M class. In L class Maiken and the horse Skywalker took II place with the result of 67,500 %, with the horse Orchidee they took III place with 63,243 %.

A Dressage competition on four different levels took
place in Vääna Equestriancenter on June 11th
RC Toominga was represented by Maiken Lepiste, who started on three horses in L class and on one horse in M class. In L class Maiken and the horse Skywalker took II place with the result of 65,985 %, with the horse Orchidee they took IV place with 64,967 % and with Goldfee, who started for the first time and achieved an excellent 60,985 %, VII place.
Orchidee also started in M class for the first time and received the result of 62,162 %.

Iia Wennersrand’s workout took place in Toominga Tall on May 26th and 27th 2011.
APRIL 2011
Jüri Koolisõit !
Toominga Tall was represented in the dressage competition that took place in Jüri Equestriansports Center on April 24th 2011.
RC Toominga was represented by Maiken Lepiste, who started with two horses in L class, where the horse Skywalker took the I-st place with the result of 70,946 % and the horse Orchidee took the III-rd place with the result of 66,757 %.
Iia Wennersrand’s workout took place in Toominga Tall on April 7th and 8th 2011.

Rahula Kevad !
Toominga Tall was represented in the dressage competition that took place in Rahula stables on April 9th 2011.
Program L9 was won by team Maiken Lepiste and Skywalker who represented RC Toominga, the result of 66,216 % , which was also the best result in R, M and L-classes, was enough for first place. In Rahula stables Maiken Lepiste started on two horses, achieving on horse Orchidee IVth place with the result of62,905%.

Jüri Koolisõit !
Toominga Tall was represented in the dressage competition that took place in Jüri Equestriansports Center on March 27th 2011.
RC Toominga was represented by Maiken Lepiste, who started with two horses in L class, where the horse Skywalker took the first place with the result of 70 % and the horse Orchidee took the second place with the result of 65,938 %.
